SRT-6210 is a multi-parameter tester designed to measure 4 parameters (Ra, Rz, Rq, Rt) and is compatible with four standards of site to measure surface roughness of various machinery-processed parts, calculate corresponding and clearly display all measurement parameters. It features 4 wave filtering methods (RC, PC-RC, GAUSS & D-P) and can memorize 7 groups of measurement results & condition that can be stored to the tester memory for use at a later time and can be downloaded directly to PC as well. SRT-6210 results can be converted from Metric to Imperial and vice versa. It has a measuring range of 0.005-16.00um / 0.020-629.9uinch (Ra & Rq) and 0.020-160.0um / 0.078-6299uinch (Rz & Rt) and calculates results according to the parameter you select. When measuring the roughness of a surface, the sensor is placed on the surface and then uniformly slides along the surface by driving the mechanism by the sharp built-in probe. This roughness causes displacement of the probe which results in change of inductive amount of induction coils so as to generate analogue signal, which is in proportion to the surface roughness at output end of phase-sensitive rectifier. The exclusive DSP processes and calculates and then outputs the measurement results on LCD. The large LCD shows roughness in either Ra or Rz at the touch of a button.
